Mission

Formed in 2010, The Committee to Preserve the Finger Lakes is committed to preserving the natural beauty and purity of the water in the Finger Lakes region of New York State. Its scenic and majestic landscape makes the region worth preserving for future generations while tourism and agriculture are the well-established foundation of its economy. The Committee promotes the region’s preservation by identifying environmental and economic threats and then informing and educating the general public, municipal officials, and government regulators.
